Retraction, Withdrawal and Digital Achiving Policy
Quantum Journal of Engineering, Science and Technology (QJOEST) follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines, whereby journal editors should consider retraction a publication if they have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g., data fabrication) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error); the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper crossreferencing, permission or justification (i.e., cases of redundant publication); as well as plagiarism and unethical research cases detected.
Under the QJOEST withdrawal policy, authors are permitted to withdraw a manuscript that has been submitted to the journal. To request a withdrawal, the corresponding author must submit a written request to the Editorial Office, clearly stating the reason for the withdrawal. QJOEST does not impose any fee for manuscript withdrawal. The withdrawal request will be reviewed and processed by the Editorial Office, and confirmation of the withdrawal will be provided to the corresponding author.
The editorial board is striving to digitally archive all published articles, especially in National Library of Malaysia. All published articles by QJOEST will be deposited under Deposit of Library Material Act 1986 to Depositori PNM.
The QJOEST has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journal via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
